A. No, Graham Technical never charges fees to contract employees or applicants.

Q. How long are most contract opportunities with Graham Technical?

A. Graham Technical’s contract opportunities vary, but the average position lasts approximately 6-12 months.

Q. Are all opportunities with Graham Technical contract only, or are there direct hire opportunities as well?

A. Graham Technical has contract, contract-to-direct hire, and direct hire opportunities based on our clients’ requirements.

Q. Will my resume be sent to all clients who have an opportunity that fits my skill set?

A. Yes. Graham Technical wants to move quickly to find an opportunity that suits your skill set and salary requirements. If you do not want us to submit your resume to specific companies, let us know up front.

Q. What is the difference between a Graham Technical contract employee and an independent contractor?

A. Graham Technical provides the contract employee a wide variety of opportunities. Graham Technical finds all of the opportunities for you! Your paychecks come from Graham Technical with all required taxes withheld. Graham Technical also gives you the option of a benefits package, including health insurance and training.

Q. Do I have to accept every opportunity that is offered to me?

A. No. As a Graham Technical employee, you can accept or refuse any assignment. However, as with any commitment, once you accept an opportunity you will be expected to stay through the duration of the contract.

Q. What kind of opportunities do you have?

A. It depends on your skills, schedules, and interests. Graham Technical offers positions in a variety of different industries and disciplines. Please review our available job list.

Q. How much will I be paid?

A. Entry level assignments are available from time to time for candidates with the appropriate educational background. However, many of our clients require experienced technical and professional specialists.

Q. As a Graham Technical contractor, who will I report to?

A. Although you are a Graham Technical employee, you will report to a client representative at the site. Questions about your actual work should be directed to the client supervisor, but all employer-related questions regarding pay, benefits or other issues should be directed to your Business Development Manager.

Q. Does Graham Technical provide reimbursement for relocation?

A. Graham Technical cannot provide reimbursement for relocation, but sometimes the client is willing to pay for the cost of relocation.

Q. Does Graham Technical provide training?

A. Yes! After you have been a Graham Technical contract employee for one year, Graham Technical will pay for up to $3,000 of training to keep you at the forefront of technology.

Q. Who are Graham Technical’s clients?

A. Graham Technical’s clients include mainly Fortune 1000 companies, but can include smaller start-up companies. We have clients that range in industry from manufacturing to banking.
