What the Class of 2022 Wants

Roughly six in 10 graduates (63%) would consider temporary work, according to a survey of more than 2,500 upcoming 2022 graduates by LaSalle Network. When asked what concerns they have entering the workforce, the top three responses were lack of experience, compensation, and sense of belonging. The top job-search tools respondents used in their job search were job boards (Indeed, LinkedIn), career fairs, and networking.

The top benefits respondents want include are medical coverage, 401(k) match, and dental insurance. The top perks they want are flexible hours, in-office perks, and remote work. Eleven percent of respondents said they want to work remote full-time, and 60% said they want a hybrid schedule.
