BLS June 2024 Job Report

U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (07/05/24)

In June, total nonfarm payroll employment rose by 206,000, with gains in government, health care, social assistance, and construction, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The unemployment rate remained relatively stable at 4.1%, with 6.8 million unemployed people, both figures showing an increase compared to the previous year’s rates of 3.6% and 6.0 million unemployed.
