The Fast 50 award is an annual award developed by Triad Business Journal to spotlight the Triad region’s most dynamic, high-growth private companies. Here’s how the process works:- Companies self-nominate to be considered for the award.
- They must be private, for-profit companies headquartered in the Triad.
- Eligibility requires at least three full fiscal years in business and a minimum of $2 million in revenue in 2024.
- After nominations are submitted, Smith Leonard, the program’s accounting partner, verifies and ranks the finalists using a proprietary formula that takes into account both dollar growth and percentage growth over a three-year period.
