Economists project that March had a large increase in employment as vaccinations increased and economic activity picked up, Bloomberg reported. The median estimate in a Bloomberg survey of economists is for payrolls to have risen by 643,000 and unemployment to have fallen to 6%. Bloomberg noted some parts of the economy have already reached or surpassed pre-pandemic levels.
